This styled wedding shoot holds a special place in my heart, it was my very first project as a wedding photographer, and I curated every detail of the creative vision from start to finish. I brought together a talented team of vendors who helped bring this concept to life, many of whom are now dear friends and continued collaborators in the industry.
The inspiration for the shoot started the moment I laid eyes on Kwila Lodge. I first came across it while attending a Gold Coast venue open day, it wasn’t part of the event, but as I drove past, my jaw hit the floor. I knew immediately that I had to feature this space. Its natural textures, fresh tones, and architectural charm felt like the perfect backdrop for the kind of romantic, editorial moments I love to capture.
With styling and florals by the incredibly talented Weddings by Bethany, and a lineup of creatives who poured their heart into every detail, this shoot became so much more than a portfolio piece, it marked the beginning of a dream, and the first chapter of something truly special.
